Rest - It's About Time I Think!

Friday Morning - Rest Day
I decided late last night that i would now have 2 days of rest
from running. It's been quite some time since i had 2 days in
a row of no running and i think my system needs it now. I have
a slight cold coming on i think although i have been battling to
keep it at bay. Also my heart rate has been up for a day or two
so it's definately a sign that i'm getting a little run down.
I want to do a good long run again on Sunday so i'll rest up for
that now.

Does sound like you need a rest. Esp if your getting a cold. Actually a rest throughout all of winter sounds like a good idea for me as, it's bloody freeeezing!

I had the yucky cold last weekend, but I found mega-dosing on vitamin C really helped to lessen the symptoms and duration - it was all but gone by Wednesday. I've always done this and swear by it every time :-)
