Thursday Evening - Boxing Bags
A set of 6 x 3min rounds on the boxing bags tonight.
A note to myself here that i must make sure to do these
as often as i can. They really are beneficial.

Thursday Morning - Medium Recovery Run (3.5)
Worked my way throught this mornings 10k run. I was
a bit sore in the knees from Masters last night and as
i expected the upper left leg/groin soreness came in
again later on. This time though it was at about 7kms
and wasn't too bad i guess. I got through the run in
58:19 and as soon as i'd finished the soreness was all
but gone! During the day today though my legs have
been very stiff.

Happy Birthday for today, old friend! What is it...50!!
Haven't seen you in quite a while now, hope to catch up this weekend, but we always feel we have to make an appointment, whereas a few years back it was a case of just drop in!Ah well not to worry. Try and make it to "BikeNight" one of these days or has Knox Sports Central now chosen to become Runners World!
Nevermind relax in the knowledge that we frequently check in on your site just to make sure you're still there.

I will second the happy birthday wishes.

Do you follow a routine on the boxing bag? Does it work well for your upper body strength?

Yeah SD, What i normally do is speedball/floor to ceiling/heavy bag in
that order and do 2 of each making 6rnds. I feel that it works well for
core strength and also upper body. it's
a very hard workout and i usually do 3mins with about 30secs recovery between
each round.
