Saturday - Rest Day
After much deliberation and much talk with others
that would know much more about fun runs and general
organisation of them, i have decided to reinstate my
time/distance from the Williamstown 10km last Sunday.
10.31kms in 50:06 being from the time i crossed the
start line. I now believe that the only distances
that were accredited were the Marathon and Half M
distances and the others were just close approximations.
I was approached by others on Wednesday night at Knox
Masters who questioned me about the distance also and
one or two of them have been doing these things for
many years (one a respected member of several commitees).
Anyway my goal to beat now for a 10k race has changed to
48mins and i intend to do this possibly at Princes Park.

With training you'll easily beat 48 mins, why not set the bar a little higher, it's possible and achievable.

the very next step. I'm looking further
ahead to much nearer the 40 mark later
on!
