Monday Evening - Leg Speed/Drills (3)
Warmup 1400m slow jogging pace then -
5 x 30m high knees
5 x 30m bum kicks
5 x double step ladder drills timed at -
11:09/10:96/10:81/10:49/11:07
3 x shuttle runs (3 cones total 75m) timed at -
18:37/17:40/17:54
Followed this with a cooldown run of 3kms at
easy pace. Total distance 5kms.

7.15pm 45mins on the spinbike in front of the TV
with a couple of short breaks. 14kms

Got back from GC today :-( Cold here so rugged up and catching up on blogs.

Love the cycling during the world cup, novel way of keeping awake.

My BF used to be in the Navy as well, he was a linguist and radio operator.

Looks like you are clocking up some big Kms. What are your goals, sprinting or are you planning on tackling a half??

Well while it's far from ideal, I'm
working on both ends at the same time.
I want to better my 200m time and also
improve my distance running. My actual
distance racing will most likely be in
the range of 3-6kms mostly in the near
future. I won't be doing a HM until
December.
